What you’ll be doing
Working with a passionate Internal Communications team, your main responsibilities are simple - live our ways of working and values, engage our people and bring to life the Woolworths Group purpose (we create better experiences together for a better tomorrow) and strategy through awesome communications.
But, it will also involve:
- Creating, maintaining, and improving communication channels across the Group
- Getting creative and interacting in our Internal Social Media and channel cadences
- Developing and executing communications strategies to support operations, projects, and change
- Partnering with and advising team members on communications strategies
- Explaining sometimes complex ideas in easy to digest communications (written, verbal, graphical or other!)
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has the drive and passion to grow and succeed
- Is flexible with their approach to work to support our teams (as we occasionally work weekends, nights or public holidays)
- Has at least 2 years entry-level communications experience, preferably in a retail/FMCG environment
- Strong written communication
- Can take a creative approach to problem-solving and has a passion for innovation
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Rush, Photoshop) or Canva
- A love for social media and current trends
