The Opportunity
As the Systems & Inventory Manager you will support ongoing DC operations through the proactive and effective management of inventory and site systems. The successful candidate will work at the Melbourne National DC as part of a larger team to deliver a just in time supply chain to ensure stores can put the right products in consumers hands as simply and safely as possible.
Key deliverables will include, but is not limited to:
- Drive our site safety values and ways of working and embed this through our systems
- Lead the maintenance of DC product range through effective systems integrity and inventory management.
- Lead the implementation of changes in the system and processes within the DC as required
- Provide leadership to the team and appropriate coaching and mentoring
- Take the lead in ensuring consistent practices exist within the DC
- Support DC in delivering to stores in full, on time and error free
Who we’re looking for
This is an exciting time to join the leadership team as we embark upon a transformational journey! We are seeking an individual to assist us in meeting the ever-evolving needs of our customers.
To be successful in this role, ideally you will demonstrate considerable experience in the following key areas:
- Leadership experience within supply chain
- Strong technical, Data and Analytical skills
- The ability to ensure continuous improvement and outcome achievements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially running reports and database queries using access and excel)
- Previous inventory and systems leadership experience
- A passion for problem solving in complex situations and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Strong commercial acumen, time management and administrative skills
- Experience in collaborating with others to achieve outcomes and driving accountability in others to deliver results
