Drill and Blast Bench Hand - Tarrawonga
About the Role
This role is a key operational role within our Brill and Blast team. Working in an operational capacity you will work as part of the team with a strong focus on safety.
Responsibilities include;
- Assisting shotfirers, drillers and MMU Operators as required
- Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
- Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;
- Demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value's
- At all times acting with integrity and respect.
About You
- Drill and Blast knowledge and experience is preferred
- Ability to pass all required security checks in which to obtain a Dangerous Goods
- An excellent, positive and team based attitude where you look out for your mates;
- A basic mechanical comprehension is advantageous, but not essential.
- Must be willing to complete Surface shot firer competency
- Previous Wheel loader experience desired, but not essential
