About the role

Ventia are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our Water Capital Works Team in North Brisbane.

This is your opportunity to work locally with an innovative organisation on large, multi-disciplinary projects, developing those skills necessary for further career progression. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the HSE Manager on Safety, Health & Environmental requirements to the business whilst working in a team environment that supports the Ventia values. This position has primary responsibility to support and monitor the efficient and effective implementation of management systems, delivery of KPI’s, reporting expectations, training content and contractor compliance.

About you

  • Diploma in WHS preferred but no essential
  • Training & Assessment Cert IV preferred but not essential
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong ability to collaborate with varying levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, well organised, focused and productive with ability to complete projects on time
  • Flexible, adaptable, resilient mindset and approach
  • Excellent time management skills and planning
  • Drivers licence & vehicle
