Campbell Barracks - Full Time Cleaner

We currently have vacancies for reliable and meticulous Cleaners to work on various Australian Defence Force (ADF).

About the role
Ventia’s Defence Base Services (DBS) team have several opportunities for reliable and motivated Cleaners who share our commitment to service excellence and are passionate about delivering a great experience to our clients with every interactions.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and engaging and have good communication skills. You can work independently as well as being part of a team and are well organised, efficient and pay close attention to the details.

Permanent full time role immediately available for a reliable and meticulous cleaner to work on our Defence Services

Site based Defence Services Site in Swanbourne

Full-time Monday - Friday 6am - 2.06pm
Pay Rate $21.71 p/h +10% Super

Duties include, but no limited to:

• General cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, wiping and vacuuming surfaces
• Detail cleaning of outdoor and indoor areas
• Toilet cleaning – servicing & detailing
• General rubbish removal/waste disposal
• Accommodation cleaning – making of beds, linen stock control
• Glass cleaning – both internally and externally (limited)
• Responding to scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning requests
• Compliance with all OH&S aspects of your role
• Being polite & professional to clients and visitors

Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship (for Defence security clearance requirements)
• Able to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance Check
• Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport to get to and from site
• Proof of COVID-19 Digital certificate or Immunisation History Statement
• Able to pass a basic medical, including a Drug and Alcohol screen
• Some cleaning experience preferred (not essential)
• Reliable punctual and takes pride in personal appearance and work standards
• Reasonable fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods

• Physically capable to clean in busy/noisy industrial environment
