About the Role
Utilita Water Solutions is a joint venture between Ventia and Downer Utilities.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team, completing breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance activities for water and wastewater infrastructure assets (treatment plants, sewerage networks etc) throughout the South Brisbane and Ipswich region.
This is Monday to Friday role, standard hours 7am to 3.30pm (regular overtime available). You will also be part of a rotating on call roster (approx 1 in every 8 weeks).

About You
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

• Relevant Engineering / Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Confined Space and Work at Heights tickets
• Experience in water/ waste, of other heavy rotating equipment industry such as refinery or process plant
• Hepatitus A&B vaccinations or willingness to obtain
  

Desirable:

• Reside within the Brisbane and Ipswich Region
• Forklift ticket
• EWP ticket
• Gas fitting ticket
• Qualification as a fitter/ boilermaker with pipe welding experience would be highly desirable

Utilita carries out a range of work including; mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs at pumping stations and treatment plants, water and sewer mains and fittings maintenance, reservoir inspections and maintenance, and vegetation management.
