UGL has a current vacancy for a highly skilled and safety focused PSO / Crane Operator to join our Maintenance Program on one of our major O&G contracts offshore at Bass Strait, VIC.
In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing end to end maintenance and service of the offshore platforms including safety and first aid, helicopter handling, radio operations, crane operations and trade assistance.
About the Role\:
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with all relevant procedures and manuals
- Crane operation to service vessel and platform needs
- Organise bookings, communication with aircraft, prepare freight for dispatch, freight and passenger control on Helipad, maintain brucker, bed and platform movement records, safety briefings
- Minor Maintenance duties as found or directed to do both in quarters and around platform within PSO work scope
- Ensure compliance with Marine Orders for shipping. Unload stores, receipt and distribute stock. Ensure all containers are packed correctly for safe transport
About You\:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in O&G / Bass Strait Experience Preferable
- Work to a high standard and be passionate about what you do
- Current MSIC & HEUT Preferable
- Work at Heights
- High Risk Work Licence (RA, SA, CT, DG) Preferable
- Current First Aid Qualification Preferable
