E&I Operator Maintainers
UGL has current permanent vacancies for a highly skilled and safety focused E&I Operator Maintainers to join our Maintenance Program on one of our major O&G contracts offshore at Bass Strait, VIC.
In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing end to end maintenance and service of the offshore platforms.
About the Role\:
- Perform duties required to achieve stable and reliable operations and maintain the safe operation of equipment within environmental and quality requirements including maintenance.
- Authorise and issue general work permits within the assigned area and work with maintenance, project and other personnel to ensure the activities covered by the permit are undertaken in a safe manner.
- Prepare equipment and perform isolations for maintenance and project work and reinstate when complete.
- Maintain effective communication with all personnel at the worksite / facility.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with all relevant procedures and manuals
- Fault finding on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Maintain all equipment in assigned area in sound operating condition
- LV/HV equipment maintenance
About You\:
- Minimum 5 years’ industrial experience – Major Hazard Facility Preferable
- Work to a high standard and be passionate about what you do
- Proven skills in diagnostic problem solving
- Willingness to work autonomously and proactively whilst achieving team-based goals
- Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical and operational information
- Current Electrician Licence
- Cert III or Cert IV Instrument Electrical Trade Qualification
- Hazardous Area Wiring Certification Desirable
- Maintenance Management System Experience (SAP) Desirable
