The ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) Operations Change manager is accountable for leading the assessment, analysis, documentation, and implementation of changes for NSW ITS Operations across all of NSW roadside technology. The role is responsible for managing the change management process for all Portfolio programs, system maintenance and technology upgrades of critical operational electronic, information technology and engineering/industrial control and safety critical systems including CCTV, Operational Systems and general Control, Systems.

Reporting directly to the NSW ITS Operations Manager, the ITS Operations Change Manager will manage the assessment and analysis of change components, change scheduling, the adoption of appropriate controls and defining the necessary change requirements within the service transition framework Additionally, the role will also coordinate communication with the internal change teams, stakeholders, project teams and customers regarding changes.

The impact you'll have

• You'll lead the validation of incoming Requests for Change (RFC) and provide assurance over all stages of the unified Change Management Process and sub-processes
• You'll negotiate and agree standard classification (prioritisation and categorisation) for changes
• You'll work within a robust critical systems environment, adhering to strict operational requirements and engineering standards
• You'll provide representation of NSW ITS Changes at the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
• You'll drive the development and input into a new service transition framework

The talents you'll bring

• You'll have a background and comprehensive knowledge of ITS Operations or equivalent experience
• A TAFE or equivalent trade qualifications in Electrical / Electronic / Systems with 3-5 years' experience in a comparable industry or Engineering Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Systems Engineering
• You'll bring strong communication skills, so as to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clearly and concisely share ideas and strategies with the wider team
• You are a natural problem solver

• You'll bring demonstrated experience in managing a change practice You have a thorough understanding of the ITIL Framework and the criticality of robust service management processes
• You will have a thorough understanding of embedding a service transition process
