About the Team

The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation $70 billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come.

The opportunity

Right now, we have multiple permanent and fixed term full-time opportunities for Contracts Administrators to join our Commercial Services unit within Infrastructure and Place division.

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the effective administration of construction and/or contracts delivery, including recommending authorization of payments, maintaining contract databases, undertaking issues management and resolution, and ensuring Service Provider compliance with contract requirements.

This role will also assist Contract Managers/Project Managers with monitoring project financial positions by providing regular financial status reports and other relevant information.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure and is energised by the challenges presented in our complex and ever-changing work environment. You will have Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated experience in contract administration in infrastructure projects, including providing support, managing systems, and reporting on contracts and be able to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment.

You will have superior analytical skills, including the ability to undertake profitability analysis, and to interpret data effectively to form recommendations and assessments. You will have the ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 8 ($118,015 - $132,176) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
