What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Remuneration and Benefits Coordinator to join our People & Culture Division in a permanent full-time capacity.
The People & Culture Division is responsible for the provision of Toyota human resources, best practice advisory, learning and development services to both internal customers and external businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, Toyota employees, dealers, suppliers, vehicle importers and the broader community with the aim to becoming an outstanding employer of choice.
The Remuneration and Benefits Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the advice and consultation in relation to delivery of company total rewards (remuneration, benefits including global and domestic assignments and recognition) and for supporting managers and employees in relation to remuneration matters to ensure optimal support to the business in achieving its objectives through its people.
This role is based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you'll make an impact
- Implement agreed total rewards mobility systems, processes, and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve business objectives at optimal cost and contribute towards the global assignment program objectives of TMC, TMCA and affiliates.
- Assist in the development delivery of the benefits strategy, programs and rewards processes and procedures to meet business objectives at optimal cost. Delivery of high-quality market data and remuneration competitive analysis, along with trends reporting.
- Act as the contact for the HR Business Partner team in relation to total rewards operational activities. Resolve any operational queries and issues and escalates non-standard operational matters to minimise risk.
- Support outsourced and internal maintenance, system testing, and projects related to total rewards systems to provide optimal customer service and support the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommends countermeasures where required.
- Assist in the coordination and facilitation of forums to ensure that total rewards plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.

- Degree qualification in Human Resources, or relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of remuneration & benefits standard processes.
- Knowledge of current employment legislation and outstanding remuneration and benefits practices and understanding of job evaluation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of organisational policies and practices.
- Advanced numeracy, analysis and spreadsheet skills.
- Attention to detail.
