We are taking expressions of interest for Drill & Blast Supervisors reporting to the Mining Manager to join our open pit operations expansion.

Location

Leinster, Western Australia

Some of your duties will include;

  • Provide leadership to plan and oversee all blasting activities
  • Document daily instructions in shift operation logbook
  • Drill reports completed daily
  • Shot plus tie in designed and approved
  • Completion of blast reports
  • Proactively seeking to continuously improve the methodologies of drill and blast to attain best practice
  • Ensure the Cat terrain system is used to provide up to date drilling information for use in the blast design

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a drill & blast department of a mining operation
  • Demonstrated minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Intermediate computer skills.
  • West Australian Shotfirer’s Permit
  • ASIO Clearance
