This Opportunity

The EPMO Reporting and Analysis Lead is a foundational role within a greenfield EPMO function and will provide support to the EPMO by identifying, analysing, and reporting on data across TasWater’s operations. Think about this role as bringing evidence to our conversations.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic insights and advice supported by sound analysis for all areas of enterprise P3 governance e.g. Project status, performance, issues, risks, change management, operational readiness and tracking of benefits
  • Alignment of planning and reporting processes to ensure strong connections between the strategic direction and forward plan of P3 activities with our agreed performance metrics and reporting
  • Provision of expert analysis and advice on reporting processes, systems and adoption, actively leading the successful adoption of a suitable PPM (Project Portfolio Management) Tool
  • Building the awareness and capability of the P3 community in the areas of EPMO reporting, analysis, modelling, processes, systems use and standards

What are we looking for

Due to the foundational nature of this role, we require someone who can identify, collect, and analyse complex data to deliver it to the business in a truly meaningful and collaborative way. There is a need to have pragmatism and the ability to communicate at all levels as the EPMO drives change across the organisation.

To be successful we’re looking for someone with the following experience:

  • A track record of establishing successful relationships in a complex, diverse environment, leading to a strong evidence base for the right interventions.
  • Demonstrable experience and passion in helping stakeholders understand business levers.
  • Successfully operated in a project office and an early adopter of improved ways of working.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of circa $150,000 (including superannuation) negotiable dependent on experience.
