We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the oppertunity
This 12 week program supports individuals to re-enter the workforce after a career break.
Program Snapshot:
A professional opportunity for you to network with people within TasNetworks and contribute to meaningful work in a supportive environment.
The program will contain a range of activities and tasks where you will get to display your capabilities whilst developing new skills, a micro credential and networks within the energy sector.
We aim to:
- Help the Tasmanian community and motivate people in their careers.
- Increase awareness about the barriers to people re-entering the workforce after their career break.
- Improve the culture surrounding returning workers.
- Aid other Tasmanian businesses in recognising the talent you have to offer.
