We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the role
As the Program manager you will be responsible for the development and monitoring of the Distribution or Transmission Programs of Work (company and customer initiated).
In this role you will develop programs of work that are deliverable, ensuring work needs and resource demands are identified and quantified using bottom-up build methodologies in TasNetworks’ ERP platforms. You will manage the development, governance, and assurance of the TasNetworks regulated PoW ensuring responsible partners provide inputs, and timelines are met. You will be responsible for identifying and initiating the treatment of risk relating to the development and delivery of the regulated PoWs.
The role is a senior program management role within TasNetworks’ regulated program office.

About you
-
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project/program management, engineering, or similar disciplines, or ten plus years’ experience in project/program management.
- A demonstrated knowledge of or the ability to appreciate rapidly, all aspects relating to the asset management, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of distribution and transmission networks is essential.
- Highly developed forecasting abilities, utilising a range of standard forecasting methodologies will be integral for this role
- Advanced communication skills, verbal and written, across all audiences with capability to persuade and influence to achieve business objectives
