The role

We are excited to welcome a new group of Customer Excellence Officers to our team who are proudly providing leading edge customer service delivery across South East Waters major customer contact channels!

What you’ll do:

Receive inbound customer enquiries: Responding to customer enquires across an omni-channel environment, our Accounts team take inbound calls, email cases and engage in live chat, providing support and guidance to our diverse customer base within the local community.

Collaborate: As a critical connection point between South East Water and customers, the Customer Excellence Officer will have the opportunity to work with a great bunch of supportive, committed, customer-focused individuals who have a passion to create a positive and consistent experience for every customer, through every interaction.

Problem Solve: With a focus on ensuring the best experience for our customers, our Customer Excellence Officers take ownership for resolving enquiries, identifying appropriate solutions and and aligning them with the customers' requirements.


Each role offers:

  • Full time hours working shifts that may be rostered between the hours of 7am – 7pm.
  • A thorough 4-5 week in-office training and onboarding program.
  • A 12-month Fixed term contract with a view to permanency based on performance and operational requirements.
  • Hybrid environment – A combination of working from home, as well as in our Frankston office following a fully office-based training period.

We have several opportunities available, and applicants who successfully pass the initial screening will be invited to face to face interviews at our Frankston office. Those who are selected will be required to start in the position on Monday18th November. All successful candidates will be required to provide two reference checks and complete a national police check.

  • Tech Savvy: able to work effortlessly across multiple IT platforms and simultaneous tasks
  • Team Players: A dependable, reliable team member with the ability to establish strong working relationships.
