The Opportunity

Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the National Operations Manager, Logistics, The State DC Manager for SA & NT will see you ensuring Safety and Operational efficiency through effective team planning, automation optimisation and engagement with external business partners.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Guide the team to adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are delivered consistently
  • Achieve and maintain inventory accuracy, damages and wastage targets
  • Develop accurate and efficient periodic forecasts and budgets
  • Manage operating and Capital costs
  • Achieve DC and Transport weekly/monthly/annual forecasts/budgets and performance KPI’s

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in developing a positive and improving culture
  • Logistics and/or Supply Chain senior leadership experience
  • Management of a large fast paced distribution centre
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial results
  • Demonstrated people management skills – motivating and leading a high performing team
  • Delivery of Health & Safety policy and initiatives
