To support our success, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to help deliver some of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the Structural, Mechanical and Piping components of projects in an EPC environment. This role will commence in the Brisbane office for a short period and will transition to a site based FIFO role on a 2 week on, 1 week off roster.

What does this role involve?
- To coordinate on site engineering functions and to manage and support the procurement functions on allocated projects to ensure safe completion aligned to project target outcomes, within time and within budget requirements.
- Support good internal and external communications on the project
- Demonstrate safety leadership and complete safety observations / audits
- Coordinate and administer all engineering related construction activities in accordance with plans, designs, controls, budgets, documentation, vendors and specifications for specific projects.
- Support effective subcontractor management to ensure commercial and quality KPI’s are achieved.
- Support construction management and supervision personnel in the delivery of the SMP works packages including development of documentation to ensure safe delivery of the work and compliance to project drawings, standards and specifications.
- Proactively support quality management including developing and completing ITP’s and field checksheets in accordance with project requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years project experience in a related industry
- Good interpersonal, communications and leadership skills

- Experience with JDE, AutoCad, MS Office Suite and MS Projects or Primavera P6 would be of value
