ABOUT the role:

An opportunity has arisen within our HR team for a Recruitment Coordinator . The role will be working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to support all areas of recruitment for Schindler nationally. It will see you coordinate activities such as, internal recruitment emails , screen & schedule candidates for interviews & testing, as well as other general recruitment administration tasks.

Having previous experience working in recruitment internally will be highly regarded . The role will require an individual who enjoys variety at work and a challenge, in return you will be joining a close team who are driven to support the business achieve its growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with key recruitment coordination activities
  • Managing the ATS (applicant tracking system) including managing recruit approvals, posting of job ads, candidate records & communication ensuring effective progress of each job from start to finish
  • Maintain high level of candidate care (both external & internal) to ensure positive candidate experience
  • Send out weekly internal Recruitment email and coordinate responses
  • Contacting candidates & conducting pre-interview conversations across multiple role types, speaking to a wide variety of candidates
  • Scheduling of candidate interviews with the candidate, hiring manager & other panel members
  • Manage pre-offer activities of issuing psychometric testing, carrying out reference checks, organising medicals, creating offers
  • Provide support for the delivery of apprentice assessment centre programmes
  • Working with the HR Administrator to ensure the upload & processing of new employees including launching of forms as required
  • Working with the L&D Advisor to ensure effective onboarding process
  • General admin duties, including data entry and updating our recruitment database.

REQUIREMENTS for the role:

  • 1 years’ experience in a recruitment administration role will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service etiquette
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to solve problems and decision making
  • An ability to maintain composure under pressure in a demanding environment
