The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to be a part of the Sydney Network Planning team in the Sydney Division of Roads and Maritime Services.
The role is responsible for providing effective, efficient and timely support and project related administrative control to and supporting the delivery and administration of projects and programs to contribute to the effective operation of the Sydney Network Planning unit.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate the development, monitoring and reporting of program/project management systems in consultation with project managers to ensure they are of a consistent high standard to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Division. This will include developing project schedules and documents, tracking progress and reporting.
We are looking for a self-starter with good communication skills who comes with experience in working within a project environment .This role is best suited to someone who is enthusiastic, professional and personable.

The salary for this position is USS 6 ($81,355- $86,567) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
Essential requirements
Along with a great attitude and partnering capabilities, you would be required to possess

Ability to implement and manage systems to regularly monitor project and contract performance information.

Demonstrated experience and/or ability in administrative services, records management and the preparation of reports and correspondence.
