The opportunity

We have a new opening available for a Carpenter to be part of the Regional Maintenance Delivery team, responsible in carrying out all carpentry trade activities, including the maintenance of bridges and structures and carry out duties that are within the scope of the trade. Working under limited supervision, you will generally perform a wide range of advanced on-trades functions which you have acquired through experience or formal training.

The successful applicant will need to hold one of the following trade qualifications: Carpenter and Joiner; Construction Carpenter; Bridge and Wharf Carpenter; Civil Engineering Construction Carpenter; or equivalent. You must also have demonstrated ability to understand and follow instructions and work procedures as well as work effectively in a team environment.

The position involves working in a bridge maintenance crew doing work across South West Region of New South Wales. This may necessitate spending considerable amounts of time away from home during the Monday to Friday working week.

Remuneration package

RMS Construction Carpenter Grades 1-2 ($1233.81 - $1294.88) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Essential requirements
