Reporting to the Program Director L400-2, the Program Manager L400-2 Turreted Variants is responsible for Program Management of each of the turreted vehicle variants through to System Acceptance Audit. Where turreted variants are delivered by Rheinmetall Defence Australia (RDA) this scope is delivered via Project Managers as direct reports.
The Program Manager L400-2 Turreted Variants ensures all deliverables are planned and delivered on schedule and to the requisite standard; inclusive of Mandated System Reviews, Data Items and respective hardware.
As Program Manager L400-2 Turreted Variants, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Develop and update the Contract Master Schedule in accordance with the AUSDEFCON Complex contracting model for all Turreted Variants deliverables;
- Manage Rheinmetall Entity and Sub-Contractor contracts to effect delivery of the Turreted Variants;
- Manage and execute the RDA Turreted Variants scope of delivery;
- Establish, maintain and manage Turreted Variants Risks and Issues;
- Review, monitor and report the project performance;
- Oversight of all Turreted Variants Mandated System Reviews;
- Ensure team resources are correctly applied and used efficiently;
- Manage and coordinate the interface between the various Entities;
- Liaise with the Commonwealth of Australia and other stakeholders;
- May be required to lead development of scope changes through to bid, negotiation and CCP implementation;
- Present to stakeholders reports on the progress as well as challenges and remediation plans when necessary; and
- Support the development of Technology Transfer Plans across the Rheinmetall Entities.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
- Formal certifications in Project Management (Prince2, PMP or CPMP);
