About The Opportunity
Programmed Property Services is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Qualified/Experienced Horticulturalist to join our team. This is an opportunity to work with a high performing team that provides grounds and garden maintenance to a large aged care village. Based in Durack, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens on site.
Nature of position: Full-Time
Location: Durack, Brisbane
Reporting line: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
- Routine mowing and turf maintenance
- Pruning and shaping across the grounds
- Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
- Weed & pest control – spraying and manual weeding
- Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
About You
To join our team, ideally, you will be a qualified horticulturalist or have extensive experience within the industry with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have
- Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping
- Current driver's license
- A chemical certificate is advantageous
- Current working with children’s check
- Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
