We're pleased to invite applications for the position of Fleet Services Coordinator to join our fun and dynamic team based in Brisbane North. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

Your role

As our Fleet Services Coordinator, you’ll deliver operational, technical and analytical support for Powerlink’s fleet services, and support the organisation’s business objectives.

Working with the Fleet Services Manager, you’ll support the delivery and coordination of corporate fleet services including the coordination of whole of life functions for the fleet, legislative compliance, personal responsibility for safety engagement, technical input and advice and supervision of fleet contractors and suppliers. A diverse role in which you will:

  • Manage Fleet data analysis and reporting to optimise fleet management to improve safety, quality and costs relating to our plant and vehicles.
  • Manage Driver engagement and operational coordination of incident support, claims liaison, vehicle allocation, vehicle pooling, technical in service functions, legislated inspections and fleet asset audits.
  • Facilitate compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and practices
  • Coordinate the end to end process for fleet procurement including compliance to Powerlink’s Procurement Framework, system data maintenance and accuracy, supplier communication and supply pipeline monitoring, operational delivery services and inductions for Powerlink’s fleet users.
  • Manage end of life activities for the fleet including decommissioning and disposal.

About you

This is an opportunity for a fleet specialist with strong problem solving and analytical skills to be part of a team who embraces your energetic can-do attitude. You must demonstrate initiative, have amazing attention to detail and thrive in a providing exceptional customer service. You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on achieving customer-centred outcomes
  • Excellent time-management, with an ability to negotiate and manage expectations
  • Fleet industry experience or experience in a technical support function preferable with coordination of project activities and supplier/contractor relationships.
  • Data analysis and document development skills, to support information flow, complex reporting and reliable system productivity.
  • Solid experience in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and SAP.
