The Role

Reporting to the National Workplace Experience Manager, your role is to lead a small team responsible for developing and ensuring exceptional front desk workplace facilities services to Origin’s internal and external business. This role is responsible for leading and directly managing up to 3 Workplace Services Assistants in our Sydney office. Your professional and approachable presence will be well known across the business, as you will be in close liaison with your Workplace Experience Coordinator peers, Strategy & Space Planning, Operations & Projects team, IT and our Executive Leadership Team.

A significant part of the role includes ensuring our services including reception, catering, security, relocation, administration and building services are managed to industry leading standards. In conjunction with strong communication and influencing skills, your role will also require creativity and innovation to identify opportunities to improve employee experience and implementing new activities, initiatives and events.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the team to ensure services are delivered to the business at a high standard and the Workplace and Travel Group are represented positively across the business
• Supporting ELT and Board level Workplace facility requirements should the business require assistance
• Supporting sites in emergency response activity, including within and outside of business hours
• Providing key business services to the company and its clients
• Contributing to BAU relocations, block and stack projects, site fit outs, refurbishments and divestiture
• Liaising with stakeholders and vendors to develop scope and programming of tasks in an efficient manner
• Managing vendor services and performance as well as event management

Is This You?

The successful candidate will be customer focused, creative and innovative, and have effective supervisory experience with strong process capability. We are looking for someone with soft services experience, within a large business environment.

Other skills and experience include:

• Experience in facilities/workplace soft services or similar role
• Experience in people management or supervisory experience
• Strong HSE awareness and proactive HSE disposition
• Experience contributing to the strategic direction of Workplace and Property teams
