The Senior Go to Market Executive reports to the Associate Director, Go to Market within the Consumer Marketing and Revenue team.

The GTM functionality sits across product, marketing, digital and training teams to align and build out the end to end customer deliverables for consumer product launches. This is a critical operational role within Optus, with overall accountability for ensuring the effective delivery of consumer marketing programs in a timely and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the GTM kick off briefing document working closely with product and Senior GTM lead
  • Responsible for the collation of all business artefacts related to CIS, CAF and SFOA from the product owner
  • Asset approver and gate keeper across collateral for all deliverable streams of the GTM – the GTM exec acts as a gate keeper for approvals prior to legal sign off to pick up mistakes and revisions across work in flight. This includes elements such as digital pages, plan tables, marketing concepts and rollout across multiple executional sizes, catalogues, retail assets, content etc.
  • Responsible for the delivery of consumer execution/ go-to-market plans across all marketing touch points including prioritization of GTM activities within portfolio and across team to deliver best overall business outcome.
  • Lead required business briefing activities for all tactical offers, promotions and initiatives and support the senior GTM lead in briefing strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a ‘customer proposition champion’ across all GTM initiatives to ensure all internal and external execution is integrated and aligned to the proposition strategy
  • Provide support in developing tactical and strategic execution plans to meet stated business objectives.
  • Execute special Project activity including issue resolution initiatives and play a role in problem solving business issues.
  • A contact for legal and regulatory issues relating to both project based and business as usual go-to-market activities.
  • Support the resolution of escalated issues and risks identified as part of program activity or business as usual operations.
  • Approve all internal and customer facing marketing material for product sign off and compliance
  • Prepare regular timelines, insights packs, input into performance reporting and manage updates across GTM teams, stakeholders and sponsors. Calling out critical risk areas as required.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in a marketing environment
  • Experience in developing go-to-market plans to maximise product launch success
  • Experience in managing cross-functional, virtual stakeholders
  • Product management skills and experience from concept to execution
  • Execution or project management role
  • Desired tertiary qualification
  • Experience in online / digital services
