About the Role:

As a Telesales Consultant you’ll be the voice of Optus!

You’ll be part of a vibrant and successful sales team focused on selling competitive packages, providing outstanding service to existing and new customers, and building long lasting relationships. In this role you’ll predominantly be undertaking inbound calling. The great news is there’s no cold calling!

In this role you’ll be required to work full time, 38 hours over 5 days between the hours of 7am to 9pm. You’ll mostly be working Monday to Friday but may be required to work one or two Saturdays or Sundays in a month period.

You’ll receive a base salary and have an opportunity to receive uncapped commission. You'll be working in the Adelaide City Centre.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer enquiries with exceptional customer service.
  • Creating unique customer connections through building long lasting customer relationships.
  • Presenting, promoting and selling Optus products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend workable solutions that meet the needs of the business, stakeholders and customers, to ensure maximum brand loyalty.

About You:

You’ll be an energetic, passionate, confident and people focussed individual who has prior success in a contact centre or sales role. You’ll thrive in a KPI driven environment and be able to provide outstanding customer experiences. While it would be amazing if you have worked in the telco industry, this experience is not essential.

You’ll be a problem solver, negotiator and team player, who can work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a positive can-do attitude. You’ll have exceptional communication skills and a high level of personal accountability, ensuring you take ownership and follow up.
