How can you grow with Nufarm?
Based in Alsip, IL, Nufarm is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Analyst who will be reporting to the Payroll Manager. The Compensation and Benefits Analyst will maintain detailed knowledge of total rewards plans and processes necessary to administer the plans including benefits, compensation and 401k/409A plans.
What will you be doing?
- Implement and communicate health & wellness initiatives through presentations during new hire orientation, open enrollment or other educational venues.
- Audit and ensure accuracy of benefit enrollment, benefit changes, new hires or terminations from HRIS and vendor systems and resolve any issues or discrepancies for both US & Canada benefit plans, work with HR partners on benefit follow-ups. Plans may include: 401(k), 409A, RRSP, health and welfare, and voluntary plans.
- Support monthly benefit billing process. Prepare documentation for vendor payment or payment approval, and file accordingly. Audit invoices and enrollment against change files or other reports, vendor systems and payroll.
- Coordinates with vendors on employee benefit transactions, appeals, carrier file exchanges, accessing reports and ad-hoc reporting.
- Partner with HR and managers to provide guidance on compensation related matters including salary structures, job architecture and pay recommendations.
- Play a key role in administering the annual merit increase and incentive programs. Processes include, but are not limited to, user training and support, HRIS (Success Factors Compensation module management), maintenance and data updates of master files, preparation and distribution of merit/incentive letters, follow-up with HR partners, managers, and employees. Payroll files and accuracy of data.
- Provide analytical support and reporting to Finance monthly and during budget planning process.
- Assists with compliance for ACA, ERISA, COBRA, Secure Act and other benefit related policies and statutes including annual non-discrimination testing and Form 5500 preparation and files required for State and Federal reports.
- Conducts various plan related audits.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate plan related financial transactions that are prepared according to financial controls.
- Perform other compensation, benefits, and LOA duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned.
What do you bring?
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR; Business or related experience. Additionally, 2+ years in benefits administration with 1 year of HR experience. The right candidate will develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
