A bit about your role

The Splunk Engineer is a position within the Security Chapter reporting into the Manager DevSecOps Splunk.

The candidate will have a solid understanding of security information and event management (SIEM) backed with several years’ experience in delivering services into a SIEM with the Splunk toolset.

The objective of the team is to work across organisational boundaries on our corporate and active network. Onboarding of critical event / log data through modelling (CIM) and delivery of dashboards / reporting to support the ongoing and future security needs of the organisation.

This includes various log types and data sources into the SIEM tool by identifying, developing and deploying global cybersecurity controls across the enterprise leveraging the firm’s assets, network and data to identify threats.

A bit about you

The successful applicant will have proven exposure to Splunk, covering areas such as Enterprise Security, User Behavioural Analytics, Splunk Applications and numerous data sources for complex Splunk environments. You will have strong experience in transforming delivery across IT teams, preferably in the telco industry.

You will have experience in Identity and Access Management domain with a variety of relevant toolsets as well as experience with Cloud delivery and architecture.
