A fantastic opportunity has become available for a General Manager Workforce Strategy and Operating Model. We will consider candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne.

A bit about your role

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Workforce Strategy, Partnering & Change, the General Manager is accountable for leading the Workforce Strategy & Operating Model team to drive the development of a fit-for-purpose, integrated, enterprise level workforce strategy and operating model which enables nbn’s purpose and strategy.

Working with nbn’s Executive Committee and senior leaders across the organisation, this role is accountable for:

  • Articulating and delivering nbn future Workforce Strategy, including the workforce plan to enable the strategy.
  • Developing and evolving nbn’s Operating Model to deliver on nbn’s Corporate Strategy & Vision.
  • Enabling and executing the workforce strategies through the nbn Organisation Design Practice, Strategic Workforce Planning & Workforce Transformation delivery teams.

This is a wonderful opportunity which will allow you to play a key leadership role on the Workforce Strategy, Partnering & Change team and broader People & Culture team.

A bit about you

You are a seasoned business leader with significant experience leading teams within large complex organisations in Operating Model Design and Strategic Workforce Planning.

You will have a track record of delivering successful programs, capability and change improvements, developing and leading multi-year programs of strategic people initiatives that requires cross-business and functional collaboration.

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiating and influencing skills, and highly developed executive presence. Furthermore, you will have the ability to diagnose issues and resolve complex problems with finesse.
