About the role:

The Securities Specialist is the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding any queries related to the Personal Properties Securities Register (PPSR) and is responsible for the ‘Securities in order’ process.

In this roles, you will provide support to the Business Lending Team Leader and the Customer facing teams as well as other Medfin functions in the delivery of the team’s core activities to provide effective customer outcomes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage the team inboxes and any gaps/errors or problems that may arise in the fulfillment of a transaction.
  • Assist with queries from the business regarding processes required, status of deals and general information.
  • Work with the Asset Finance & Mortgage Specialists to ensure all required PPS security registrations are entered on the PPS register within the timeframe specified by Medfin policy. Create registrations on PPS register and via the Realtime B2G link
  • On receipt of escalation requests; assess capacity to be able to accommodate the request and advise the RM/AM accordingly.
  • Process Discharge of Mortgage and production of title requests in conjunction with the Mortgages Specialists.
  • Conduct required reporting and complete necessary checks
