Come Join a high performing and fast paced team who manage a large portfolio of Small Business customers. Your portfolio requires working with Business customers who are experiencing short and long term financial difficulties. To effectively perform in this role you are required to proactively manage your portfolio meeting regulatory requirements, while working with your customer, internal and external stakeholders to determine the correct solution for both the customer and NAB.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to
- Manage accounts that have fallen overdue or are non-compliant with the terms and conditions of a contract
- Communicate with influence by negotiating arrangements with customers in sometimes adverse and complex circumstances
- Build working relationships with Bankers, NAB Assist Customer Care, external legal service providers, internal legal, credit and risk to create strategies for assisting customers
- Assist with the management of complex/defended matters, AFCA and Internal Dispute Resolution matters
- Effectively manage a portfolio by adhering to all processes and procedures pertinent to the role and regularly contacting customers to cure accounts in a timely manner that have fallen overdue
- Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified
- Ability to understand complex business structures e.g. companies, partnerships, sole traders
- Assess lending credit submissions for lending restructures and/or security discharges

- You will be required to meet all the core training requirements to hold a credit decisioning authority.
