The Legal Services Officer will provide advice and prepare documents, so that NAB can meet customers’ needs quickly whilst keeping within NAB’s current risk appetite.
Your responsibilities will include
- Provide simple, clear and accurate advice and documents promptly
- Follow established processes and apply correct templates and guidance notes
- Proactively work towards and maintain proficiency in all work types relevant to your role
- Communicate concisely, clearly and calmly
- Stay in touch with what bankers and customers expect from us - help to deepen our relationships in priority customer segments
- Embrace continuous improvement through pro-active involvement in, and implementation of, initiatives which make our advice easier for bankers ot understand and Legal Services to complete work requests
What you will bring
- Transactional knowledge
- Understanding of relevant frontline functions to which the Legal Services are provided
- Familiarity with paralegal functions and relevant NAB systems
- Understanding of NAB’s risk appetite

Effective collaboration with each Legal Services colleague, internal and external stakeholders

An eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A continuous improvement methodology

If you are currently studying, then it is preferable you have at least 2 years of your studies/degree left
