Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Associate, Group Treasury to contribute to Treasury decisions impacting capital and funding execution, governance and controls.
A critical part of the Bank, Group Treasury engages senior stakeholders including Risk Committees, the Board, Regulators, Debt Investors, Industry Bodies and Rating Agencies. As such you will possess knowledge of Treasury concepts & functions, strong stakeholder engagement & management skills and a sound understanding of risk management practices.
Day to day you will
- Assist with ensuring compliance with obligations under the Group’s capital and funding program transaction documentation
- Assist with the maintenance of ongoing listing and regulatory obligations
- Assist with the preparation, management, coordination and negotiation of terms in documentation for funding deals
- Facilitate business management operations by providing Front Office support
What you will bring
- 5 years + of Financial Markets, Finance, Governance, Financial Reporting, Treasury experience
- Relevant Degree Qualified – Finance (or associated areas)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Risk management focus across Treasury related disciplines
- High attention to detail
- Strong skillset with reviewing and updating documentation
- Ability & confidence to engage multiple stakeholders to achieve outcome
- Keeps to hard deadlines with good time management
- Strong numeracy and conceptual understanding of Treasury landscape
- Familiarity with debt capital markets, including fixed income and interest risk products
- Familiarity with trading systems (e.g. Calypso)
