Multiplex is a premier construction company with a simple purpose: to construct a better future.
Established in Australia in 1962, Multiplex is known for shaping skylines and delivering iconic projects around the world. It has delivered more than 1,000 projects with a combined value in excess of US$90 billion.
Our business is built on people. People who share the mindset to outperform in everything we do. Combined with our inherent values (We keep it real, We care about people, We are collaborative and We have grit), it is the foundation of our Multiplex culture and enables us to fulfil our purpose.
Building our Talent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our National HR team. The role is responsible for managing end to end recruitment processes to help identify and secure the best talent for Multiplex.
Working closely with the National HR, L&C, Talent teams and regional/global business leaders, you will be responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment processes for all our Construction and Divisional roles. Important functions of the role include working to ensure our EVP is attracting best talent in the market; proactively identifying innovative ways to headhunts a diverse pipeline of candidates; coach and advise our hiring managers on interview techniques and selection decisions and challenging them to think outside the box if need be. The goal here is to become an expert in understanding your portfolio and source candidates that fit those roles. Outside of the day-to-day recruitment function, there are a number of Talent Acquisition initiatives you will have an opportunity to contribute to.
The ability to quickly develop relationships and influence stakeholders is key to the success of this role along with a detailed understanding of behavioural interviewing, advertising, selection tools and alternate sourcing strategies. You will have proven experience in a recruitment role (ideally in-house) and be an expert in HR/recruitment platforms (here we use Springboard and Workday). No-brainers are attitude, willingness to support our business, the ability to keep candidates and hiring managers updated every step of the way and have strong all round administration skills.
NB. This role can be based in either of 2 of our regions - VIC or WA, and we are open to exploring the possibility of job-share across these regions
Why join Multiplex?
Our people are supported to outperform in everything they do with a range of holistic benefits including:

  • Professional career development opportunities, and a wealth of learning offerings through the Multiplex Learning Academy
  • Bonus schemes; annual remuneration reviews; and gender equity reviews
  • Salary continuance insurance
  • Leave and benefits to support parents, including 18 weeks paid parental leave regardless of gender; payment of superannuation during leave; and coaching
