About the role

Be part of Min Res and join our internal mental health department, The Mind Matters Team – Perth-Based with FIFO to Kens Bore

At MinRes, mental health matters – just as much as physical health. Our internal Mind Matters Team is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Mental Health Clinician to join the team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for employees facing challenges like stress, grief, anxiety, burnout, and low mood.
  • Conduct mental health risk assessments, including suicide risk evaluations.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 25 active clients (1.0 FTE).
  • Provide in-person & telehealth consultations.
  • Collaborate with Emergency Services, Medics, Health & Wellbeing Advisors, and Gym Staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead mental health education and psychosocial wellbeing initiatives (e.g., pre-start talks, workshops, mindfulness sessions).
  • Contribute to quality improvement & mental health research.

The Roster:

Hybrid FIFO: Perth-based with FIFO travel to Kens Bore on a 4:3 / 4:3 rotation, what this looks like? Well 4 days spent in Perth with the team, RnR for 3 days, off to site for 4 then back for 3 days RnR and repeat.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Psychologist or Master’s in Counselling
  • Membership with APS, ACA, AHPRA, or PACFA
  • 2+ years’ experience in mental health
  • Suicide risk assessment experience
  • Strong communication, problem-solving & teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • National Police Clearance
  • Insurance (Malpractice, Public & Products Liability)
  • C-Class Driver’s Licence desirable
