Working together as a valuable member of the OCE Signalling team, support the big build and maintenance of the MTM Railway Network, help achieve consistent standard solutions and provide optimal and efficient options.

Your experience will be utilised to positively influence the development of project scopes to achieve best for business outcomes, establishing new/improved capabilities and strengths within the team and the wider signalling community.

This role is offered on a fulltime permanent basis operating out of MTMs head office, Docklands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the MTM OCE Signalling Engineering Manager in Planning, Production and Approval of Signalling: Strategies, Standards & Technologies
  • Development and Management of Signalling: Competency Systems, Training Strategies, Training Courseware Contents, Standardised Solutions - ALDS & Typical Circuits, Signalling Process and Procedures
  • Provision of Technical Advice and Support for: Safety In Design Workshops, Risk Assessments (Novel Designs and Waivers), High Potential Incident (HPI) Investigations,Internal and External Stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, acceptable for professional engineers registration
  • Senior experience in Railway Engineering
  • Experience in Signalling Principles
  • Experience in Stakeholder - Ability to manage conflict with both internal and external stakeholder
  • Knowledge and understanding of Rail Safety National Law.

Required Skills

  • Apply risk management processes
  • Effectively plan, work and meet completion schedules
  • Follow occupational health safety and environmental procedures in the rail industry
