About the role:
Due to continuous growth, we are currently looking for a dynamic Completions Coordinator to support our Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance (MRPA) in our Projects Division.
Reporting to the Completions Manager, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate Completions support to meet project deliverables for the Level Crossing Removal Program.
The Completions Coordinator exists to support the process of completion and integrity of asset information in accordance with Metro’s requirements in support of Victoria’s ‘Big Build’ Infrastructure Program. The role achieves this through efficient administration and supporting the facilitation of asset handover to ensure it is safe, compliant and integrates with the network in accordance with metro’s requirements.
The role is typically embedded within an Alliance and may report to a non-Metro employee on a day-to-day basis and works closely with the Project’s Quality function.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, primarily based between the project head office in Richmond & project site offices along Melbourne as well as working from home options. As an MTM employee, you will have access to free travel along the network.
Accountabilities
The key responsibilities of a Completions Coordinator will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the handover process at project completions ensuring involvement of all key stakeholders and ensure project documentation is completed in accordance with procedures
- Preparation and collation of Asset Handover packages for MTM, VicTrack, VicRoads, Councils and other stakeholders as required. Packages will include, but not limited to, Asset data, DMS Drawings, O&M Manuals, Construction verification documents including Work Pack / Work Lots, and Defects lists.
- Checking of O&M manuals and other Project and Asset Maintenance documentation for sensible and logical content.
- Management of DMS Master Drawing Register ensuring existing drawings are booked out, and new / revised drawings are checked for compliance, and returned / submitted to DMS with appropriate status.
- Preparation of Asset Data records, primarily MTM’s Ellipse AMS using EACR forms, but also for other Stakeholders
- Site inspections and Asset Data capturing. Note: During Occupations, weekend and night work may be necessary.
- Interrogation of AMS and databases, primarily; Ellipse, DMS, PASS, Prism, Projectwise, and Incite
- Attending Stakeholder / Maintainer Site walk-throughs and Defect identification inspections
Desired Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Engineering tertiary qualification is an advantage
- Completions experience highly desired
- Experience in a similar role with an emphasis Victorian Rail industry is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience using a high level of accuracy and working to tight timescales
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage, use and maintain administrative systems
- Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
