ABOUT THE ROLE:
This an exciting time to be joining Werribee Mercy as our services expands. In 2018 we are opening an additional 6 Theatres supported by a new CSD and DOS admission and recovery unit, 2 additional Medical and Surgical Wards and a Critical Care Unit in a brand new, super modern building.
The new and existing expansion will provide 2 Day Procedure Units providing admission (Day surgery and overnight patients), stage 2 recovery, and discharge of day surgery patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic RNs to join our well established, stable and very happy team to help grow the service well into the future!
• Permanent Positions, option for Full Time or Part Time
• Werribee Mercy Hospital, Day Procedure Unit, DOSA, and Medical Day Stay (MDS).
• Provide and deliver a high standard of clinical care, contributing to quality, education and safety initiatives.
• Hours of work are based on a 5 day roster Monday- Friday.
• The successful applicant(s) will provide quality client-focused care to the patient, their family and carers using a holistic approach within the core values of Mercy Health
• Form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a highly responsive and flexible service, contributing to quality, education and safety initiatives.
ABOUT YOU:
• Registration with AHPRA, Division 1 with current practicing certificate.
• Recent experience working the Day Procedure environment is essential
• Post Graduate Qualifications highly desirable
• Chemotherapy administration certificate highly desirable
• Knowledge of National Standards and the Accreditation process is essential
