Reporting under our Finance Director, we’re looking for an experience Data & Reporting leader to develop a roadmap for data and reporting for NZ Business and act as the conduit to centre of excellence team in Australia. Champion the creation and improvements of quality data and reporting to enable insights driven conversations that aid our SMEs across Sales and Marketing.
Ideal applicant will come in to analyse, understand the current state of NZ data and reporting, and identify gaps & opportunities. Build roadmap and lead change/stakeholder management to deliver on roadmap.
This is an exciting role for an analytical mind to identify opportunities and create reporting which influences decisions that make Lion a first choice with consumers and enable us to win with our customers.
Day to day you'll:
- In conjunction with stakeholders, own quarterly rolling roadmap & backlog of analytics initiatives & non-SAP process automation
- Advise senior leaders on operational, marketplace (3rd party) and financial key metrics for KPIs and OKRs
- External stakeholder management with 3rd party data providers
- Accountable for ensuing NZ Data & Reporting approach remains aligned to direction set by Lion D&R COE
- Represent Lion NZ on group data & reporting initiatives
- Identifying gaps & help business/people through change process
- Influence and coach leaders to prioritise and deprioritise
What you will make you successful:
- Ability to lead change with a cross section of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to create reporting, analyse data and deliver compelling recommendations
- Understanding of data integration points and implications across all teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI
- Ability to prepare and present persuasive and compelling insights to shape business decisions
- Experience using SAP platforms would be beneficial
Skills:
- Expert Power BI & Power Apps knowledge
- Expert Power Automate
- Data modelling & Data governance (including practical implementation examples)
- Change management & Technical communication
- Design thinking (user centric design)
Knowledge:
- Cross functional stakeholder management
- Tertiary qualification
- Deep expertise in a commerce, systems, or data
- Experience working with DAMA DMBOK, DCAM or similar Data framework
Experience we are after:
- 5+ years’ experience across leadership, analytics, data & automation
- SAP experience desirable
