We have an opportunity for a Pallet Controller to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you
execute the asset/pallet strategy and 3PL compliance, ensuring that all asset/pallet related matters meet operational and customer objectives.
Key responsibilities in the role include:
- Pallet Reconciliation and monitoring with clients/carriers/on-forwarders and pooled hire equipment providers for multiple sites
- Deliver asset best practice within system & resource framework.
- Optimise pallet control accuracy and traceability to reduce pallet hire costs and eliminate pallet losses
- Owner of pallet asset processes from manufacturing site hand over point to return from customer.
Key to your success will be:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A focus on process improvement, with a problem solving mindset
- Previous experience in CHEP and transport, warehousing and/or logistics
- Experience within a FMCG environment preferably dealing within Operations and 3PL relationships
