Quantitative Analyst - Treasury
Working within our Treasury department as a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models to support fixed income portfolio construction, optimisation, analysis and reporting across a range of asset classes.
About you
- Sound programming skills, with experience in SQL, Python, R, or C++
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in statistical analysis and modelling
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, with a focus on fixed income.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or engineering
- A curious mindset to be a Liberty #FreeThinker.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting quantitative analysis of economic data, portfolio data and market trends, to construct and optimise fixed income portfolios.
- Conducting ongoing analysis to support investment decision-making
- Monitoring portfolio risk and performance and recommending adjustments as needed
- Reporting portfolio position and performance.
