About the role
Laing O'Rourke is recruiting for a Workforce Planning Lead to oversee the planning and rostering management of blue collar staff and plant resources across the Rail Operations Australian business.
Key responsibilities
The key functions of the role will include:
- Coordination, collaboration and reporting on current and planned resource requirements for blue collar and plant resources.
- Leading and coordinating the development of an online rostering and competencies management portal.
- Collaboration with all project and work winning teams across the Australian Hub to gather data and blue collar resource requirements to generate forward looking resource management forecasts.
- Labour and Plant utilisation statistics (forecast, actual).
- Oversee the Training and Competencies management team
About you
Extensive experience in the planning, delivering and rostering of Blue Collar labour in a construction and operational environments, preferably in the rail sector.
Strong skills in Microsoft Project, the Microsoft Office Suite and online BIM systems.
