The IBM GBS IBM Automation service line is a team of industry experienced, strategy, business, and technology consultants who collaborate with our clients to co-create a cognitive automation agenda for their businesses. This is a growing practice and the leaders and consultants on this team are the architects of AI and robotic automation for our clients.

Our Cognitive Process Re-Engineering practice is looking for Application Developer - Process Automation RPA - who have technical hands-on experience in RPA design and coding and in working in an agile project environment. They will work closely with business SMEs and team leaders throughout the development lifecycle. Accreditation in one or more RPA platforms is essential.

Responsibilities Include:

• Technical hands on RPA design and coding.
• Understand user/business requirements to complete robust technical solution
• Assist in definition of project scope, requirements and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Maintain high client satisfaction by exceeding expectations and delivery excellence; build strong delivery teams with predictable performance; develop lasting relationships based on mutual respect of their capabilities
• Conduct problem analysis and root cause investigation
• Recognizing risks and issues related to the engagement objectives and suggesting solutions.
• Proactive and provide quick turnaround to business requirements and management requests
• Reflect IBM’s core values every day, in all interactions –internal and external

REQUIRED Professional and Technical Expertise

• Accreditation in BluePrism, Automation Anywhere or UI Path
• At least 12 months experience as an automation developer post accreditation
• Proven ability to communicate effectively – verbal and written
• Willing and able to travel as required
• Deep Relationship Propensity - Worked with Client in a consulting/relationship-driven behaviours
• Exposure to agile delivery methods

PREFERRED Professional and Technical Expertise

• Experience working as a Application Developer - Process Automation RPA - in an agile scrum team to automate business processes
