About us
Fulton Hogan delivers high-quality infrastructure to improve the lives of people in Australia and New Zealand, every day. Our 10,000+ strong team works in every kind of weather and environment, creating, connecting, and caring for communities.
After 90+ years in business, we believe resilient infrastructure will help tackle the challenges of a changing world, and we will continue to invest and innovate to play our part.
We’re proud to play a part in making our communities better and we feel privileged that they allow us to do so.
As a company that has come from strong family origins, our diverse teams work hard and take good care of each other. This behaviour is underpinned by our REAL Values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude and Leadership.
Everyone at Fulton Hogan lives our REAL values, whether they are building a bridge, laying asphalt on a road, maintaining a waste water treatment plant, keeping our IT systems up and running, or ensuring our communities are updated on our works.
If you can see it, you can be it!
This is our team. We are unique. We respect and celebrate our differences and embrace everyone!
Supporting you!
We work hard to create a safe, welcoming, and rewarding workspace for all our people.
We believe that when we harness the potential of our diverse workforce and provide an environment where everyone feels valued, is treated fairly, and with respect, we will be more innovative, open-minded, and productive in our approach.
To break down the long-standing barriers women face when entering, and staying in our industry, it requires leadership and a bold commitment – not just from us, but the construction industry as a whole.
We’re focused on making the incremental improvements required to help ensure our ongoing success and sustainable growth via the unique value that women bring to our company.
This includes celebrating our women and their achievements, striving to increase female representation across our business (after all, if you can see it, you can be it!), and helping to empower women to pursue roles that will allow them to reach their full potential. We want all our people to know that we support their growth and development, regardless of their gender.
This is reinforced by local initiatives across our various Australian business units, sites, and offices, for example:
Opportunities for flexible working arrangements;
Our involvement with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), including many of our women being recognised with nominations and awards;
Our people’s participation in external mentoring programs through organisations such as the Civil Contractors Federation, Roads Australia Fellowship Program, and the Victorian Government’s Women in Transport Program;
Informal regional and divisional female networking groups;
Our people's support of various STEM Programs at local high schools and universities, helping to highlight female role models and promote engineering and trades as viable career options for young women;
A partnership with the Richmond Football Club ALFW team in Victoria, which helps to provide flexible career pathways for female footballers as they juggle work and their professional football careers;
Being accepted for the Construction Industry Culture Taskforce (CICT)5-day work week pilot trial.An Australian Constructors Association (ACA) initiative, that will see one of our Melbourne-based project teams participate in a 5-day, 50-hour work week;
Creation of the first women’s white night-time PPE for the Australian market, in partnership with Platinum Health Supply Group, Level Crossing Removal Project, and Metro Trains Melbourne. The PPE was specifically designed and tailored to better fit the female frame and improves safety and comfort.
