About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Improvements & Project Specialist. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.
As the Finance Improvements & Project Specialist, you will lead specialist areas across Finance Operations, supporting key transactional activities, data quality, reporting, and analysis. You'll also play a crucial role in managing key risks and controls to align with our corporate strategy. You will take charge of implementing improvements, building strong partnerships, and driving operational efficiency across Finance processes.
About You
- You are an experienced finance professional with a deep understanding of finance transactional functions and a proven ability to lead process improvements in a corporate environment.
- Your strong stakeholder management skills allow you to influence outcomes and build effective relationships.
- You possess high-level communication skills and are proficient in business systems such as ERP, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- With a focus on developing people, you are adept at mentoring and teaching to support capability uplift across the organisation.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or a related discipline or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
Desirable
- Project Management certification or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
