Through the EY Badges program, individuals can earn credentials in areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineering, generative AI, and digital transformation, many of which count toward the accredited EY Tech MBA.
Imagine having the freedom to customise the career you envision, in a place where an inclusive, supportive culture opens doors to rich experiences and opportunities.
We are proud of the work we have done so far in making EY an inclusive place to work. Our policies are focused on continuing to advance gender equality, share the care and build an inclusive organisation. We offer several formal and informal flexible working options and in addition to these, we have gender affirmation leave, an opportunity to substitute public holidays for a day of cultural significance and domestic violence leave to protect our people.
Whether you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, have a disability, are a proud member of our Indigenous community, or identify as culturally and linguistically diverse, or culturally and racially marginalised, we invite you to find out more about working here. We have around 120 unique cultural backgrounds across Oceania and between us, we can speak more than 40 different languages.
We have employee networks centred around all the beautiful differences that our people bring and unite around a shared set of interests, experiences and perspectives. EY employee networks provide everyone an opportunity to learn, make new connections, friendships and extend their networks. Being actively involved in a network can be rewarding personally and professionally, whether that be by opening up our mindsets, or learning a new recipe through our CD@EY (Cultural Diversity @EY) cookbook!
CD@EY aims to support EY people in building a better working world through understanding and embracing cultural diversity at work, with our clients, in the marketplace and within the wider community. Our CD Mentoring Program enables mentoring couples to explore some of the unique challenges facing our people of culturally diverse backgrounds and support them in developing strategies for success.
Our Gender Network focuses on accelerating gender parity here and beyond and exists for people of all genders. We know that everyone can feel the detrimental impacts of gender inequality and recognise the important role that all people have in progressing gender equality.
Our family leave policy offers 26 weeks of gender-neutral paid parental leave, which can be taken flexibly, or in one block, with no eligibility period and no break in superannuation or KiwiSaver for up to 12 months. The policy also supports Whāngai arrangements and kinship care.
Whilst preparing for, undertaking and returning from extended leave, EY people are supported by a digital parental leave platform that provides guidance and support on everything from starting a family to being a working grandparent. We also provide paid leave for early pregnancy loss, fertility treatments and leave for grandparents.
Through our Ability Network, the appointment of our Disability Inclusion and Workplace Adjustments Lead and a person-centred approach to workplace adjustments, we continue to be intentional about elevating disability inclusion and promote accessibility in the workplace.
We are a proud signatory to the Valuable 500, a coalition of the world’s most influential businesses who are igniting systemic change by unlocking the business, social and economic value of people with disabilities everywhere.
Through our Unity network, EY is proud to be a member of Pride in Diversity and to have achieved AWEI Platinum Employer status, recognising our longstanding leadership in LGBTQIA+ inclusion. EY also renewed its Rainbow Tick certification in Aotearoa New Zealand, reinforcing our commitment to inclusion for all, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
Unity continues to shape inclusive policies - such as updating the gender affirmation guide and reviewing recruitment practices to remove barriers for trans and gender-diverse candidates; so that everyone can thrive. Our LGBTQIA+ community and allies benefit from mentoring, events and regular activities across Australia and New Zealand, fostering connection, support and shared experiences.
