We are currently seeking multiple apprentices to join us at Downer Energy & Utilities for hands-on roles, situated in Victoria's stunning outdoors. Based at our Sale, Traralgon, Warragul, Leongatha or Bairnsdale depots, our Overhead Electricity Distribution team is seeking to appoint an Apprentice Lineworker. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining overhead infrastructure on behalf of our client. This opportunity offers extensive training to develop your skills in safely constructing and maintaining overhead assets for the electricity distribution network.

• Valid drivers’ licence or ability to obtain by February 2025 (mandatory).
• A keen interest in developing yourself within a power distribution environment, with the desire to contribute to an essential service industry.
• The ability to work as part of a team with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
• Positive disposition and a undeniable focus on safety.
• Construction industry White card (or willingness to obtain).
