Downer is a leading provider of end-to-end Technology & Communications service solutions. Our wireless line of business offers capability across Project Management, RAN design, SAED, construction and integration services for our customers across both Carrier and Critical Communications networks.

Due to ongoing project success and increase in work we are seeking a Deployment Project Engineer (IBC) to join our team in either North Ryde NSW or Melbourne VIC .

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will primarily be accountable for co-ordination and management of construction and integration activities across all IBC sites. The role includes co-ordination and management of field related activities during For Construction and As Built phases in order to ensure correct build as per DAS design, and to avoid any customer impacts/complaints due to network performance issues or build errors.

• Handling of active DAS equipment from Commscope, Crossfire and Mavenir
• MOPs and HOP requirements for IBC sites
• Ensure that project activities are completed “Right First Time” and where required drive continuous improvement
• Promote safe working practices and a culture of safe behaviours and attitudes.

ABOUT YOU

• Several years experience working as a Deployment Engineer/Project Engineer
• Demonstrated experience with IBC DAS on Australian Telecommunications Carriers networks, preferable Telstra.
• Expertise in BTS rack configuration and materials for Ericsson and Telstra equipment, including MTX materials; Call-off of materials in MCM and GRO
• Well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Collaborative communication style with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team
