Downer Group’s Utilities Underground team are seeking a Qualified Cable Jointer for underground infrastructure installation and maintenance work on behalf of our client AusNet Services, reporting into our Lilydale, VIC office. With Downer’s Zero Harm culture at the forefront, this role will see you provide a high level of future trade competency to safely and efficiently Joint LV and HV cables on the power services network.

ABOUT YOU

• Be able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment
• Able to work as part of a team with a can-do attitude
• Positive attitude and strong focus on safety
• Certificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution Underground
• Lineworker Licence in Cable Jointing is a Must
• Installation and maintenance work in accordance with appropriate standards and work practices
• Identifying and implementing risk control measures to provide a safe working environment
• Construction industry White card preferred
• Licenced for High Risk Work in the use of EWP’s an advantage
• Valid Manual drivers licence preferred
